
Damn. Yes, he was the leader of The Generation of White Reporters Who Made Their Names Covering Vietnam And The Civil Rights Movement for Segregated Newsrooms (He covered SNCC from the beginning), but he was also a great storyteller deeply committed to craft. He also told it like it was. Damn.
