If my personal opinion of Elaine Brown is incorrect, then I apologize because CoIntelPro were very fastidious and wicked. They knew how to turn Black people agaisnt each other then and I am sure they have mastered it now. I would love to live in a world where none of it is true, but there goes that “your story, my story, the truth” dilemma comes in.

I’m sure there are people who fought in the struggle and were falsely accused, but the Taste of Power comments were just…odd to me. I mean…trained by a CIA operative? I don’t know. I do hope it all comes to light one day in order to clear or confirm so that this can be put to rest.

I hate to say it, but brother Shabazz is correct. It is in the book (A Taste of Power) and I was always mystified why this is even a debate if it is in the book, in plain writing. David Horowitz was another agent that helped pushed Huey Newton into the Betty Ford Clinic and an addiction to methadone.

First of all, I’m thankful for this post because it gives me a chance to find out more about Elaine Brown and her involvement with the BPP. I’ve read her book, A Taste of Power” twice and I have it in front of me now because so much didn’t make sense. Ms. Brown’s book is full of contradictions that aren’t written by her. First her virginity was taken by her ex-boyfriend’s friend, then she later writes in her book that some member of Omega Psi Phi took her virginity. Then she continues to list man after man she slept with regardless if they are the husbands, boyfriend or whatever of women she called friends. Now I’m not a prude but for real, I’m still trying to figure out how she goes from typing to her constant rising/promotion within the BPP. From reading her book she offers no details of these promotions other than someone she had slept with. Please if there is something else to add other than who you were sleeping with Elaine please provide. That while I do admire your place in history, I completely trust what Geromino Ji Jaga says more. Why? cause ain’t no mess associated with him, his record and dedication can be documented and proven.

@Craig, I’m saying the lot here, on this attack forum, don’t know my mother, or my family, which remains the Black Panther Party. Some comments on here recall COINTEL PRO and how easy it is for negroes to turn on a dedicated black woman based on lies from people being compensated by the government to villify my mother because she continues to live her life fighting for oppressed people– even those who attack her. Her love for black people, and all oppressed people remains, inspite of the few attacks pushing the oppressor’s agenda. This forum is not much different than overseer behavior. A case being thrown out of an oppressive court should be your first clue that you have been bamboozled and the man is thankful for your continued ignorance. Thats why most of you wouldn’t have the guts to stand up for human rights for prisoners (like my mom) , but attack a woman you don’t know. So typical it almost hurts.

So typical of ‘men’ to attack my mother (now that Huey is gone). Weak, and more weak but not at all a surprise…especially coming from fringe that claim to have ever been in my family…but weren’t. i found parallel targeting when the FBI placed Legs Saunders in Afeni Shakur’s life. He was nicky barnes’s aide, who was called mr. untouchable by the new york times. his repeated charges were continually dismissed as the CIA linked drug kingpin. see pipe dream blues or my book: the fbi war on tupac shakur and black leaders. also, an undercover agent became qu’billah shabazz’s lover. malcolm x’s daughter. he set her up in a plot against farakahn for killing her father. she went to court. both shakur and shabazz’s cases involved giving them coke, as pratt said brown did with newton.
